Why do I sign up for the newsletter?

In order to download the Sleep Hacks eBook and nap mp3s, you must sign up for the SleepWarrior newsletter. Why don’t I just allow you to download those without signing up?

The reason is that the goal of this website is to get people (as many people as possible) to start thinking about sleep. Learning about health and wellness is one of my passions, and I notice how little attention sleep health gets when it should deserve more.

So why the newsletter? The newsletter exists because the Internet is flooded with information, and any single website contains too much information to absorb in one visit. By signing up to the newsletter, you can receive sleep-related information in small doses over a longer period of time, so that the information really sinks in and gets you to think about sleep in a new way (remember, that’s my goal!)

What type of emails will you send me?

The first email you will get includes instructions to download your free ebook and mp3s.

After that, you will start receving the “The Optimal Sleep Email Series”. The Optimal Sleep Email Series consists of 20 or so emails, each containing an actionable piece of advice you can use to improve your understanding of sleep (and health, and energy levels, etc).

Other than that, I will occasionally tell you about new versions of the ebook or mp3s. But really, I don’t send emails very often.

You’re not trying to sell us crap, are you?

Nope, I don’t believe in promoting junk. The point of the newsletter is to get people interested in sleep.

Can I unsubscribe at any time?

Yes, of course. At the end of every email there will be a link if you no longer want to receive SleepWarrior emails.

Will you keep my email information private?

Yes, your email is safe. I hate spam as much as you do.

The bottom line is this: signing up for the newsletter is safe and is simply my way of building a closer relationship with you, the reader.
