This is so true, I also find that getting up early helps me feel more energetic. I now get up at 5am every day and feel great. Before I used to sleep until 7.45am and normally would wake up exausted from vivid dreams. My personal belief is that once the sun is up and traffic starts moving outside, your quality of sleep will be negligable and frequently disturbed, hence the dreams.Far better to be up with the birds before sunrise. I can go to bed now at 11pm be up at five and feel much better than if I get up later with a full 8 hours sleep.

This is very useful information. To keep the wake up times consistent, also the important point about maintaining a positive and energetic attitude for each day would be when you have a bright goal for your future. Thanks for the Information!

This makes a lot of sense. I'm going to have to try it. I have been oversleeping all my life so it's very hard for me to think I can change. Typically I will try to get 10-12 hours if I can (which I can because I'm a freelancer and work my own hours) but it's so true that when I'm on vacation or doing something exciting the next day, I hop out of bed with ease and feel great all day--even with only 5-7 hours of sleep! So it's got to be possible to extend that to everyday life. Thanks for the article.
