And for energy, Rodrigo y Gabriella have simply the best kick ass acoustic guitar tunes. My fav: Stroget. Always gets me tapping to the beat

Some people are more sensitive to higher frequencies than others so they will find high frequency music with a “four on the floor” kick drum stimulating. In general high frequency music stimulates brain activity.

Great site!! Here's some ideas. I'd actually like to try and incorporate these into an MP3 alarm system myself. - "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" by Smashing Pumpkins (you laugh, listen to it, all piano) - "Tonight, Tonight" by Smashing Pumpkins - "Sadeness" or "Mea Culpa" by Enigma - Pretty much anything from Incendio (any of their albums) or La Esperanza (especially Mi Tierra) - "Legend of Ashitaka Theme Song (end credit)" from the Princess Mononoke Soundtrack (my GOD this is an amazing song) - Lots by Delerium... - "Jupiter: The Bringer of Jollity" from Holst's "The Planets" - Lesiem - esp. "Navigator" - Achillea - The Nine Worlds (most anything from that album) ... tons more ... (I didn't even talk about DJ Tiesto) I have GOT to get us an MP3 alarm clock!
